Local Organizations

Anna Civics Association:
Meets: First Monday 7:30 at Library

The Anna Civic Association was founded in the late 1960's. The organization's name has changed throughout the years: Anna Community Club, Tri Community Club, and currently the Anna Civic Association.

The organization's purpose has not changed:

  • To provide community activities
  • To provide financial assistance to individuals and organizations through scholarships and donations, and
  • To promote community goodwill

The Anna Homecoming Festival is the association’s major activity provided for the Village and is their sole fundraising event.

The Anna Civic Association has provided major financial support for new basketball courts and the summer baseball program; purchased a learning center and communications system for the elementary school building; purchased new Christmas Decorations for the Village, and gave a donation of $10,000 to the Rocket Boosters for bleachers at the football complex.

With grants from the Anna Endowment Fund, the Civic Association constructed a bikeway/walkway path in the Village Park and purchased new Village entrance signs.

Yearly donations and activities include $2,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors, $500 to the Anna Library, and assistance in providing a Fall Festival, Easter Egg Hunt, and Santa Clause visits.

The Anna Civic Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
