Anna Fire Department
The Anna Fire Department is a modern, progressive fire organization proudly serving the Village and surrounding areas since 1889. An 8,085 s.f. fire facility houses eight (8) trucks and other necessary equipment, offices, and a training room. The department is a volunteer organization which uses a paid-on-call staffing model. The department is under the direction of Chief Tim Bender and Assistant Chief Tom Bergman.
There are approximately 30 well-trained and dedicated volunteers who are prepared for emergency situations. Services provided include fire suppression, rescue, public education and fire prevention efforts. The department responds when required and provides emergency medical services (EMS) first responder services to supplement EMS response.
The ISO Fire Rating for the Village is a Class 4. The ISO Fire Rating is a combination of equipment and personnel, fire hydrants and water system, and fire prevention activities.
